The third game in the franchise is the best. Though there are only 5 real different play modes, they are all really fun in their own way. Arcade mode which is pretty much just NBA Street is the game's best mode. You play a 3 on 3 game with everything made a lot faster with more blocks dunks and 3's. There is a season mode which can be challenging, and unlike the demos of the game, the defense is really good. There are the normal types of plays, like Perimeter and a 2-3 Zone but there's also other cool plays like a box and one man playing one on one. The graphics are awesome with near photo like images of players face. The dunks are insanely fun to watch and there are some pretty absurd ones in arcade mode (a dunk from the free throw line?). The Sound is all right but let me tell you, after about 4 or 5 games, turn the commentators off. They'll annoy the hell out of you. You will hear the same comments a lot and most of them are really dumb. The controls are mad easy and will become second nature after a game or 2. There's also an added Create-a-Player mode where you can even adjust player's nose length.

Graphics- 9 This is a very nice looking bball game, the floor really reflects the lights and people, and the animations on dunks are really cool.

Sound- 5 The commentating is so annoying, after a game or two you'll notice the same comments being said. Plus there horrendously stupid comments, this is definately the game's weakest aspect.

Control- 9 The controls are excellent and make being a pro very easy.

Replay- 8 The game has a create-a-player mode and a really fun Arcade mode but the commentating will really bug you, but then again you'll want to play this if you want a good laugh.

Overall- 8.4 This is an awesome basketball game with only 2 major problems:The commentating is dumb and repetetive, and the defense is almost non-existant.
