The GTA series has always been a controversial one. Heck, Rockstar knows the meaning of controversial better than anyone. Smuggler's Run, State of Emergency, and GTA are proof. However, none is more controversial than GTA's third installment-mainly because you can see every brutal thing you do in glorious 3-D. There's a lot of brutal things you can do too. The traditional car-jacking is still there; you can jack everything from fancy sports cars to planes (the Dodo). A unique art style accompanies all this; the characters are beutifuly animated. The controls are almost perfect, except drive-bys should be easier. Music? There's more than enough music. A lot of it doesn't take itself seriously, which I really appreciate. That's another thing I like about GTA3-it's hilarious. The radio stations, and sprawling mass of people are all funny to listen to. The story isn't bad either. As far as replay goes, I can play this game forever. A definate purchase.
Graphics-9 Simply gorgeous. The lighting effects are wonderful as well.
Sound-8.5 The sound is great and the music is funny. You'll find yourself going to Chatterbox a lot.
Control-8.5 The controls are good and shouldn't take to long to get used to. But, if I was to compare controling cars and yourself on foot, cars would defintaley take the cake.
Replay-9.5 Every time I play this game, I just can't get enough. It hurts to walk away from it....
Overall-9.3 I love this game. It's addictive...and it's not a puzzle game either. Weird.
