Halo is a huge First-Person Shooter action game that takes place around the year 2552. At the start of the game, aliens called the Covenant start invading your ship and you have to defend them off. You're a super-soldier called a SPARTAN-II soldier. You're the only one left that the Covenant did not get to and destroy. You have plenty of weapons to choose from but you can only carry two, which makes it more realisitic instead of being able to somehow carry a hundred weapons in your pockets. After you escape from your ship which is called the Pillar of Autumn. You go onto the planet Halo and you go through massive environments, the biggest ones that I have ever seen in a console game. Single player is just awesome, you usually never find yourself getting bored, there's always some action right around the corner. Multiplayer is pretty fun if you would like to play with one Xbox. If you have a bunch of friends or a bunch of money, you can hook up for Xboxs, four Halo,and 16 controllers for a huge, awesome, and extremely fun Halo party. If you can't do that, then the four players is still pretty fun to play with. The enemy AI is great, especially on Legendary, they try to flank you every single chance they get. They hide behind cover all the time, as for friendly AI, they need some work in a few areas. They need like a whole squad of marines to be able to take out an Elite, and then after it is dead, they'll have around 3 or 4 men left. After you beat this game on Normal, you have just got to try it on Legendary, it is even more fun then.
Graphics- 9.5 The graphics in this game are top notch. Come real close to something in the environment, and it looks just as good, a lot of times even better, than it did at a distance. There's so much detail on anything in the game. Animations are great, this game is in the top five for me in best graphics.
Sound- 9.5 The sound is really great in Halo. It's too hard to explain, but it almost feels like you're really in the middle of the $hit that's going on.
Control- 9.5 The control in here is the best for any First-Person Shooter on a console game. The Xbox controller is designed perfectly for it.
Replay- 9.0 If you beat the game on Normal, then try it on Legendary, it's practically a whole new experience for you.
Overall- 9.6 This game is just great, the single player especially kicks most any other FPS's arse on any system, PC, N64, PS2, etc. As for multiplayer, since it doesn't have online, it kicks any console multiplayer with 4 players.
