I was not expecting much after reading some other reviews of this game.
Unfortunately, I believe these other critics were very harsh and did not
play enough of the title to grasp everything it has to offer. Sure, it is
fairly easy, and maybe a little too straightforward. But, its very fun, very
smooth, and controls pretty damn well. The gameplay is divided into three
separate styles. The traditional first person shooter mode which takes up a
majority of the levels. Then, there are straightforward, high intensity
driving levels that offer a good change of pace. Lastly, there is on-rails
shooting levels where you blast everything there is to see. While the latter
is not as fun as the first two, it is still a welcome addition to the
gameplay. As well, each level has three difficulties and a points system in
order to attain certain cheats. It can get very addicting and challenging,
and thankfully its also rewarding. The graphics, while not amazing,
certainly do the job. They are very fluid and the attention to detail is
quite good. Cool things like realistic car damage and laser sights round out
the above average graphical package. Sound wise, we have are given some cool
little techno tracks that randomly burst throughout the missions. While they
are decent tunes, they are a little distracting sometimes. As for sound
effects, they are spot on. Voices and guns have never sounded better in a
bond game. Now, this game does have some flaws that do drag down the the
score a little bit. Auto aiming is a must in the FPS levels, but its not
always very reliable. In an attempt to make it realistic the guns spray,
more then aim. Also, a number of cheap deaths and lame enemy placement can
make some level BEYOND frustrating on the harder difficulties. Now, the most
redeeming quality of the game, is the multiplayer. This game, has the best
deathmatch I have played on the GCN in awhile. It has lots of options, lots
of modes, and even bots. Its addicting, with small well designed levels that
encourage lots of fun. All said and done, this game is a great buy for a
social gamer and a very competent game for the solo adventurer as well.

Graphics:    8.0    Although not jaw dropping, they are very solid and
fluid. Nice detail and decent textures make this very easy on the eyes.
Sound:       8.5    The tunes, while pretty cool, play at the wrong at the
wrong times. To counter that, the sound effects and voices are downright
awesome.
Control:     9.0    Very good. Responsive and fluid. The one complaint would
be that changing weapons can be awkward even after hours of play.
Replay:     9.0  Diverse and fun gameplay. A little easy sometimes, and a
little cheap sometimes. It is quite thrilling though, and multiplayer rules.
Overall:     8.4   This game does a lot right and is guaranteed to be
enjoyed. Lots of little flaws do hold it down a little, but nothing too
major. Oh, and multiplayer rules.
