This is a port of the last sonic game on the dreamcast, and the porting job
is somewhat well done. The game features Sonic, Shadow, Tails,
Eggman(Robotnik), Knuckles and Rouge in 3 different gameplay styles, High
Speed Platforming Style(Sonic & Shadow), Mech Shooting Style(Tails &
Robotnik) and Treasure Hunting *coughlamecough* (Knuckles & Rouge). The best part of the game is definatly the Sonic/Shadow levels, and the slow, long and boring treasure hunting is definatly the worst, with the shooter levels
being ok. A big problem with the game is the camera, it follows you well but
forces you to play through some bad angles for avoiding enemies and platform
jumping, these problems are non-existent in the treasure hunting levels
though. You can't place the camera, you can rotate, but it will swing right
back when you move. Raising Chao on your GBA is pretty cool if you have a
GBA-GC link cable.

Graphics: 6.5
The graphics are smooth, though a little blocky and undetailed. You can see
some cool backgrounds in the final levels, and a few good effects are in the
game.

Sound: 6.0
The sound is ok, i guess. The voice acting for Sonic, Shadow, Eggman and
Knuckles are well done, but for the rest it doesn't sound quite right. The
soundtrack is ok, some songs are cool(Final Hazard) and some songs are very annoying(White Jungle).

Controls: 7.5
The controls are good. Performing moves is quite easy. The trouble is moving
around during some boss battle when the camera is about half a foot from
your character.

Replay: 8.5
The replay value is good, you can reply anything after you've beaten it
(except for bosses, you have to beat the game first). And getting an A
rating is really hard, but believe me, you will keep coming for more till
you get all As. Also, collecting all the emblems (an insane task) will
unlock a secret stage, so you still have something to do after doing
everything.

Overall: 8.7
The game is a great game for the gamecube (and the dreamcast). Rent this
game if you don't care about getting everything, buy it if you do. You will
be busy for a looooooooong time.
